Come Grow With Us!! The
Inland Empire Gardeners primary focus is to create a fellowship, an extended family
of people who love to garden and want to share this in friendship. We have over
400 members from all over the Inland Northwest. We want to exchange experiences
and ideas of the joys and trials of gardening in our area. We believe people
who love to garden also have pride in their homes and devotion to their families.
We believe people who love to garden also love nature and love life. So ours is
a club that celebrates friendship, homes and gardens, families, nature, and life.
The Inland Empire Gardeners are a fun-loving group who love to tour gardens, have
festive parties, and eat lots of good foods. The second focus of TIEG is
education. For our members we rely on our outstanding newsletter, monthly varied
speakers at our general meetings, and most of all our tours. How better to learn
about gardening than to visit a well-maintained, fully blooming garden and talk
to gardeners about their methods, have them identify plants, and talk about their
challenges? The third focus of TIEG is providing community service. It
is your choice whether to do community service and what projects you choose to
participate in. For those of you who do want to participate we pledge to provide
nurturing, supportive assistance from our offices. They are willing to get their
hands dirty with you and will acknowledge, appreciate, and even reward your efforts.
Come grow with us, it will be a great adventure!! COMMUNITY SERVICE
